Exciting Sounds News And Updates For March 31, 2013

Greetings everyone!

There's some new content over at the main website --- I went and added some discographies I've had lying around. There's one for RCA's Vik label, the mid-fifties subsidiary that lasted for only a few years but released such classic albums as "From Another World" by Sid Bass and "Wired For Sound" by Marty Gold. I also added discogs for FAX Record Company, Treasure Productions Inc. and a few more. They're not complete by any means, but they're a good starting point for further research concerning the labels' history and catalogs. Click here to go to the list of discographies.

Also, expect to see more there in the coming months --- I'm always working on this stuff, and I intend to share it. :D

Hope all y'all enjoy! Later on.

  1. I discovered your website and I applaud your mission. I may be able to fill in one of the blanks in your Treasure Productions discography. My late father was very fond of a recording that was a reading of Omar Khayyam's Rubaiyat by George Rosette. I remember clearly that it was produced by Treasure. Unfortunately, my father gave that recording away, and I don't have the LP number. I would love to find such a recording. Any thoughts?

    1. Thanks for that, I just updated the discog. :)

This album actually is available -- searching Amazon and eBay pulls up some results. Other possibilities include or, both of which have tons of obscure titles.

I'm glad you stopped by, and thanks for your comment. :)

    2. Thanks so much for that information!

Whaddaya think?
